Metro West Swimming Victoria Incorporated (known as Metro West District) is the governing body of competitive swimming in the western suburbs of Melbourne. The district currently has over 1000 members and twelve member clubs, and is affiliated with both Swimming Victoria and Swimming Australia. Over the past sixty years the district has played a key role in the development of swimmers from Melbourne's west, with many going on to represent their clubs at a State, National & International level. Our premier event is the Metro West District Championships, held annually in long course format.

Metro West Swimming Victoria Incorporated is the governed by a Management Committee elected annually at our Annual General Meeting. In addition to meetings of the Management Committee, member clubs also elect a Metro West Delegate who attends quarterly Delegates meeting.
